With Kevin Pierce at the helm, you always get great narration. Interesting enough story and character development but pretty blandly written – but I understood Tate’s intentions. Too politically heavy, with confusing …and sometimes conflicting perspectives which gave me the impression of the deep insecurity and paranoia I only see on Fox News from time to time. i appreciated the attempts to suppress the racial and discriminatory undertones but still obvious most of the time. But I get it, I sometimes forget how apocalyptic the LA riots must’ve seemed to those watching it from afar.
All in all, this was a refreshing break from the all-out total collapse scenarios dominated by a genre I really enjoy.
