As with the others in the series, this book was funny and entertaining in a thoroughly creative and completely warped way. What story there was, was good. Unfortunately, about two thirds of the novel was spent rehashing and reflecting upon every single thing that happened in the novel–often just a few minutes later. It was painful to listen to an hour-at-a-time of the author re-describing the battle that just happened, in ever more excruciating detail. I kept thinking to myself, “Yes, you just said that; moving on…” The author would have done better to write more actual story and leave most of the reflection to the reader.
