18 year old Jessica and her younger twin sisters sneak into their mom’s lab to check out the new game she’s been working on, Puatera Online. Without logging in properly, the game glitches and the three girls are stuck in the game, each separated from the others and searching for a way to reunite and to get out of the game.
This is books 5-7 in Puatera Online, but I read them without reading the first 4 and had no trouble following along. This is lite LitRPG, there are no stats or character creation, it’s just a fantasy adventure that happens to take place in a game world. It’s an easy and addictive listen geared more towards the YA crowd, it’s a great way to get your teen (especially girls) hooked on the genre.
The narration was well done, with the perfect voice for the girls. It pulled me right into the story. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
