The description sounds mediocre at best but it is an incredibly fun listen with vibrant characters and a fun super powers/magic system. If you grew up watching anime in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s you will find some familiar tropes that come straight out of a harem anime with reluctant protagonist that slowly steals the hearts of the women around him. I know, complete wish-fulfillment cliche but, the author pulls it off in a fun way and the story’s protagonist develops in such a way that it feels very organic for his personality. Overall, I took a chance on it and really enjoyed and hopefully more of you will as well. The narrator brings a lot of life to each character and there is enough variation between each voice that it easy to tell each character apart.
