Delvers LLC has a few trademark lit-rpg concepts, but they are sparsely used. Leveling up can occur, but is a very infrequent thing. Skill points are mentioned, but their distributions and the available options are rather light. Overall though, the book is quite a lot of fun. I enjoy the ridiculous god trope, and that certainly applies here. Definitely worth a read if you want something a little more ridiculous for a few listening sessions. The best parts(to me) are actually the introspective looks a few of the characters have into their own personalities. Those segments went much deeper than the typical book of this style, and I rated this as highly as I did because of it. With that said you may still not like the absurdity of some of the characters, but I definitely think it is worth a try.
