On the night of January 30, 1945, the Wilhelm Gustloff, was sunk in the Baltic Sea by a Soviet submarine. It was evacuating German civilian refugees, and it is estimated that 9,400 people died. Many of them children.

This is the story of four individuals fighting for their freedom who make it to the ship, and now will have to fight for survival.

My heart was warmed and broken as I journeyed with these young people facing the unimaginable and tremendous horrors of war.

It is a powerful heart-pounding tale and should not be missed. I highly recommend it.
