this is easily the funniest book i have read in the last twenty years! it’s part sci-fi parody, and part sci-fi military, and part social commentary. it also, sadly, is somewhat filthy. it ought to come with a parental advisory warning, but if you’re an adult, you ought to be able to handle it (most of the adult-humor is aimed at aliens, so i guess i’m a “species-ist”).
my only complaint: WHERE IS THE SEQUEL?
