- Would you listen to Life Reset: A LitRPG Novel again? Why?
- If i forgot the story of it sure – I like books because I want to know what happens next. I would be bored listening to a story I already knew again. The performance was excellent.
- What was one of the most memorable moments of Life Reset: A LitRPG Novel?
- The terrifying scene near the end for sure… But also when they delve into the cave and reveal the mystery.
- What about Jeff Hays’s performance did you like?
- Everything. Every Jeff Hayes performance is stellar and the work that soundbooth theater puts into the monster and character voices along with the demon voices and god voices is wonderful. I’m an audio engineer by trade and would do it the same way if it were me so I certainly approve.
- Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
- It had me on the edge of my seat. The most emotion I ever really get from books is anxiety which results in pacing around instead of working while I listen. I could see how it could make other people emotional but its definitely a book centered mostly around logic.
- Any additional comments?
- I think that the stats were a bit lengthy. I’m not docking points for it because it would make a lot more sense in text form to have the stats all shown. However, since you have to listen to every line instead of skimming over the stats lines you are uninterested in hearing again I did end up fast forwarding some of the stat monologues. It didn’t bother me too much because it comes with the genre and I do like a stat focus it’s just that unimportant stats were also repeated quite a bit which gets droll because IRL you would skip over those if you were playing the game.
