I really enjoyed this first entry in the LitRPG series, and hope to read more of it soon. It has a lot more meat to it then most of the other books in the genre I have read, and feels like you get to go through quite a bit more then usual. The increased book length and story speed makes for a great listen, you get what is normally a few books worth of content in one. The narration is great as normal from Jeff Hays, he always puts up great quality narration. He is able to pull off a huge variety of voices and tones, and always makes the story super entertaining.
This book has good pacing, its own unique spin on the stuck in the machine twist, and quite a few standout scenes. It also has multiple times in the book where they change up things to constantly keep you engaged. If you enjoy the genre, I recommend checking this one out.
