I have purchased the next three Audible books in this series because these first three are so good. The characters are all believable and the children are not whiners (like in other post apocalyptic books). And Kevin Pierce is an accomplished reader. He makes it so compelling. In fact I’m wondering how much of the feelings — not actions — but feelings are the authors re: growing up etc.

The language is always a bit much, but if you can get past that you’ll enjoy the read/listen.
