The story of the Spokane South Hill rapist is fascinating as a tale of psychological damage, perversion, and manipulation. The personal profiles of the characters give a well rounded view of the events. The reader must remember the time period with much more limited forensics and no cell phones, to explain how Coe got away with the crimes for so long as sloppy and careless he was… parking nearby, letting his face be seen, his voice etc… but the most enjoyable part was the reader! I love his voice, the expression, the voices of the characters, and the inflection in each word. Many readers distract from the story, but this reader was fantastic!!!
