This sequel to The Miracle Girl was fantastic…The Fall Girl is the second installment to this series. In this book, Claire and JJ are settling into their life together all the while JJ is coming fresh from her book tour, starting a new business adventure with her best friend/business partners and on the home front with Claire expanding there family. To bad normal see doesn’t fallow JJ for long. A person from her past comes along and persuades JJ & Cora (with a little bit of blackmail) to help look into some cyberbullying and some murders that have been taking place in the under belly of the dark web. Needless to say all hell breaks loose and nothing is as it seems… Now with that said, once I started listening to this book I found it very hard to stop. This story has some unexpected twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end. While still incorporating the loving and sometimes steamy relationship between Claire and JJ. This book does come with a Cliffhanger of an ending, so my fingers are crossed that all these characters come back for a third book. Once again if you’ve read the books ? and loved them just as much as I did, Then I can’t imagine you would be disappointed in the audiobooks version. TJ Richards does a wonderful job in narrating this series. I was so absorbed in the story that it was difficult to imagine just one person doing all of the characters voices. “Bravo” to Markinson and Richards to a job well done!
