I enjoyed the adventures Abrahams wrote in the traveler series, I lived in Texas at one time and the descriptions are very authentic. The characters are colorful and well defined. On the downside Abrahams apparently never uses the services of an editor! For example, he used the expression, “he bit the inside of his cheek” about a thousand times! The narrator, Kevin Pierce always sounds like a very old man to me and all of the character sound the same. I would recommend this series to lovers of the genre.
