Any additional comments?
This is my second Jake Bible book and again, I wasn’t disappointed. This type of science fiction is not my usual fare, but Bible and Andrew B Wehrlen are gradually persuading me otherwise.

Bible does a great job of crafting the main characters, their relationships and interactions with each other. I especially like the sarcastic nature of their verbal interplay. I wasn’t totally convinced of the way the crew interacted with their leadership, but the story flows in a way that allows you to get past that.

Earth is failing and the crew of the Jethro are tasked with finding a new home. In typical colonist style, this is done by force and the crew are ably supported by a squad of 30 foot tech warriors. This time though, have they met their match?

Bible gives us a great alien biologic, fast paced fight scenes, suspense and one or two twists.

Wehrlen does a great job with the narration and I enjoy his range of voices and ability to drive the story along at the correct pace.

Alas, the story left us hanging on the need to read book two! But what the heck? Let’s get to it!

I was provided this book free of charge in return for an unbiased review. My thanks to the author, publisher, narrator for this opportunity.
