In this dense novel, Kim Stanley Robinson takes us on a tour of the horrors and hopes of the next few decades. Jumping from engrossing experiences of direct climate catastrophe to complex speculation on scientific, economic and political solutions, this Cli- Fi novel can be a little unsettling or optimistic at points. It both portrays the dark reality that we will have to live through no matter what, but also gives a clear glance of a brighter future.

The Audiobook is also amazing. There are many narrators from around the world, and having voices in a multitude of accents adds to the book greatly. Some of the more textbook or poetry esque chapters would likely be better read than heard, but the narrative viewpoints are much more common.
