I saw advertisements for this series billing it as “Hitchhiker’s guide to the Apocalypse” and generally comparing it with the masterwork of Douglas Adams. That, it is not. Its a cute story with an irreverent look at post-apocalyptic themes but it lacks the actual humor of the compared work. Still 20 hours for 1 credit it was a good time kill with some interesting themes. Some of the potential humor points may have been lost in translation by a solid but uninspired reader. If the series continues I wouldn’t blow a credit on a single episode, but if they bundle them again then perhaps Id give future episodes a go.
