I really enjoyed this book. The MC is not some OP dude who smashes everything in his path (though those stories can be fun) instead he is a normal dude with problems I can relate to. Yes he tends to get his butt kicked, but he is always moving forward. He’s improving slowly but surely getting better and making a better life for him and his sister. So I recommend this if you like a slowly improving MC supported by a great cast of characters.

Side note, travis does a great job narrating and the bonus chapter at the end was hilarious
