I enjoyed the book and will definitely read the next one, though the way the book ended was a little questionable for me.

Without spoiling anything, the way it ended left me genuinely unsure if the author was trying to incorporate a new plot for the future books from an alternative perspective, or if they just thought that was a satisfying ending to the book. Also if you dislike characters with OP abilities, this series may not be for you, since the MC definitely has such a gimmick at this disposal.

Also, the reason I said the book felt a little rushed in the title is because of time skips. I enjoy character progression, and because of the nature of this series a lot of progression is skipped over, especially towards the end. That’s not the end of the world, but it leaves things a little unsatisfying. I also thought the way this book ended would be something tied close to the second or third books, so it’s a bit surprising book one ended the way it did.
