This was a fun cozy mystery & was well narrated to differentiate between the different characters & their personalities. All of the characters are really likable & the love story is a bit cheesy, but that’s to be expected with cozy mysteries. The mystery isn’t predictable & had a bit of a twist.
I wish Lizzie didn’t call her grandpa “Jimmy John,” it’s a strange thing to me… and makes me think of sub sandwiches ha. But in all seriousness that’s my only qualm. It would be more authentic & cozy if it actually felt like a granddaughter & grandfather solving crimes together. Instead it feels like Lizzie and a friend.
