- What made the experience of listening to Dungeon Lord the most enjoyable?
- Jeff Hays’ narration makes anything better. He has so many varying voices and effects that it totally immerses you in the story. Also, this is the second time I have heard something he has narrated with Annie Ellicott and they work very well off of one another, and I look forward to hearing her in more of his productions.
- What did you like best about this story?
- Edward’s alignment in the story is what is an entertaining and unique thing in the book. I like that he is what in the world is considered a blight and villainous, but he is trying to battle against it and not let darkness overtake his actions.
- Which scene was your favorite?
- The climactic fight, which was more of multiple battles connected. It was entertaining and cool to see the character string together the things he has learned to overcome the situations he finds himself in.
- Any additional comments?
- A fun LitRPG, and one where a character picks to enter the world(even if slightly coerced) instead of just being teleported or forced. It has elements of personal power as well as a future empire he will have to build up. The pacing is good and the setup for future installments is solid. I look forward to the next book.
