16 Millimeters is a fun cozy mystery series with interesting characters, a little romance, and an intriguing mystery. The mystery in this book is unique. Maizie was an actress but she had to give it up and is now living with her father, stepmother, and little sister. She wants to train to be a private investigator so she is working with Nash and there is a little chemistry between them. This all provides some humor. A movie is being shot in town and Maizie knows the lead actress, Cambria, who is getting bad publicity. The movie producer hires Maizie and Nash to watch Cambria so she behaves. Odd things start happening to Maizie and she sees things someone doesn’t want her to see. I was intrigued and wasn’t sure about anything. This was a very enjoyable cozy mystery. I requested and received the audiobook from the author for an honest review.
