Cendrine would rather enjoy Christmas like a normal (non-witch) person, cuddled up with her boyfriend while a blizzard snows in her small town. Instead, she has a houseful of stranded travelers and a murder to solve. I loved that Cendrine didn’t want to be witch. It was fun to see her coming into her own as the book progressed. The writing is a little repetitive, with the same points being described and explained several times, sometimes back to back, but that is tiny thing against a funny cast of characters and an interesting plot. I don’t think the narrator did this book justice. I would definitely recommend checking out the sample first. I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author in exchange for an unbiased review. That said, if you like the narrator sample and the witch cozy genre, it’s definitely worth starting this series from the beginning. Christmas Witch list is book four in the Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery series.
