Luterman takes what he built in Small world and expertly weaves a long narrative about what you would do to get back to the one you love. Stealing, lying, murder? The story never has time to settle and get stale, instead, it goes in directions frequently. Many I wasn’t expecting. Each time the setting changed had me hooked, wondering what would happen next. I enjoyed the sense of adventure this story brought to the series and the interesting social it topics explored.
Prepare yourself for an emotional, wild ride.
I don’t know how you could listen to the other two books and not be in love with Piers Ryman’s narration. This book is no different.
