I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I truly enjoy this author’s narrative and his ability to create a suspenseful plot while keeping you smiling. The characters are funky enough to be likable. I’m very familiar with the geographical area where this series takes place and that makes the story even more realistic to me. I can appreciate the details and the way the characters are able to deal with this urban reality.
The narration is as always impeccable. It is such a pleasure to listen to the audiobook so masterfully interpreted.
I do wish the book would have been longer, but if the author felt that the story was told as is, who am I to judge?
