This book is eye-opening in a way. You can see true crime stories on TV, but there is no comparison to the detail portrayed here. I was halfway through the book before I realized it was a true story. I had thought this author was too grizzly in his story & was stunned that it really happened. It was almost too disturbing to go on. By then, I wanted to see what finally happened, but I had to take breaks, sometimes for days, before I could go on. And I’m an RN who’s seen a lot. I do recommend it if you have a strong constitution.
