It is refreshing to see a Post Apocalypse novel that does not feature zombies or other diseased people who have been turned into monsters. The vague references to the event causing the Apocalypse did not detract from the story. The time frames of the story are way too compressed. The events would likely happen, but nowhere near this rapidly. The developments were predictable, but likely in such a scenario. It is good entertainment and I recommend it.
