I could have done without the cheesy character voice-overs… I think I would have liked it more. The story was interesting. However as another reviewer wrote, although it did take place in the Florida everglades, it really could have taken place anywhere, like in some suburb and it could have been called “suburban life”. In other words, I didn’t really get the whole “feel” of the wilderness while listening to this book. With the exception of some alligators and 1 python there was not much of a detailed description of the surrounding area, like other dangerous animals or poisonous insects, etc. In any case, it was an interesting read. I would recommended it (on sale though).
