The Black Farm is what happens when you find a diamond encrusted turd, is the inside shit? Yes. Does it still look marginally nice because of the diamonds? You bet your ass it does. Crude metaphors aside, the black farm is all imagery with a story that’s just competent enough to act as a vehicle through this journey into a new and honestly awe-inspiring hell. By far some of the most gruesome, horrific, metal, and bleak types of horror that you’ll ever see, gruesome and gross descriptions that’d make Clive barker blush. If you care more about what’s being described in a story than what’s being said, This is the book for you! If you’re looking with something that’s more substance over style, keep it moving.
