This is a hilarious take on the standard alien invade earth story, but featuring the members (or what are left of them) of our president’s SPACE FORCE. The send up is humourous with lots of obvious, and sometimes not so obvious references to our current political climate. While the story will never be Nebula award winning, it is short, entertaining, and provides more than the occasional laugh. Do you like SciFi in the vein of “Will Save the Galaxy for Food”? Like rapid fire pop culture references? Have you ever gamed? If so, then this story is the perfect palate cleanser between what seems to be the never ending epic mutli-volume series being pumped out today.
The narration, especially Jeffrey Kafer as Cpt. Stone makes this romp enjoyable. He posses just the right amount of sarcastic over-the-top swagger needed for a story in this genre. The other cast does an admirable job as well.
