A comedy that just isn’t that funny.

This book is what would happen if you explained what a haram is to a twelve year old, then asked them to write the outline for a novel that included one.

Entertaining at times, with an interesting idea at its core, but it just didn’t strike the right funny-bone for me. It leans too much on the comedy for that to be the case.
