The story kept me engaged, and I never felt like there was a a part that I wanted to skip. I appreciate that the writer found new ways and challenges to introduce progression for the protagonist and the game world as a whole. The ending put a huge smile on my face… as I anticipate more. I don’t know how heartbroken I would be if this series truly ended anytime soon… 😅
As far as the narration… I have to say I wasn’t to happy with it. Most characters sounded too much alike. And considering the tempo and general flow of certain parts of the story, I felt the narrator lacked emphasis on crucial moments and quotes. The feeling of certain characters I believe was incorrectly expressed most times. If it wasn’t for my love of the series and story, i could understand the lacking narration taking readers out of the flow of the story.
