I hadn’t listened to the last book for close to a year when this one came out, but it did a decent job in reminding me who all the characters were and why they were important. It did an amazing job of making fun of the comic book genre and how it continues to make characters fresh that were invented 70+ years ago in a post WWII/anti-Nazi/cold war era.

as a sucker for super hero books, I have also listened to several other popular series about them, and found myself laughing out loud when there main characters were people in the tournament! while this was a big change from the last few book, it was still impressively funny and entertaining. Highly suggested!
