Once again Verity’s life goes off the rails. She’s out doing one simple errand for her friend Emmie when she had a small run in with Lucy. It always seems that Lucy loves to aggravate people and today it’s Verity’s turn. Unfortunately not too many hours later Lucy’s body is found at the bottom of a steep hill. Add in a new resident who just didn’t 8 years in prison for murder and a handsome police detective who had his eye on her and Verity’s life just got hotter! Petrea Burchard is a fantastic narrator who brings the characters, especially Verity, too life!
