Although some may love this book, there were aspects that I didn’t appreciate. I realize the narrator may have been endeavoring for a specific accent, but it didn’t seem Bostonian. The way she pronounced words such as Hannah, band, and dance drove me crazy the entire book.
The sex scenes and bad language were unnecessary. And the main characters had major character flaws. Had I known these things going in, I would not have wasted a credit. And do we have to know ad nauseum how the men smell?!
That said, there was a sweet surprise near the end that added a great deal of redemption.
