I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
TLDR; It’s pretty common to have lulls in the action of a book before you start ramping back up the action, this book is a bit of a lull in the action.
I fell like the TLDR makes this book sound bad, it’s not, but it is a change in pace from the rest of the series. We get introduced to some time-travel in this book and the outcome is a more Fantasy oriented book, rather than Sci-Fi. Until the end, the end is a kick right back into high-gear. Overall, I’d call this the slowest book in the series, still a lot of fun, and it gives a chance to expand on some characters that would be hard to do without this breather.
