I am unsure how to rate this story. With the number of positive reviews it has I expected more.

This book follows a girl who sells her soul to save her mother’s. That works for me. But then after that point it doesn’t.

She flirts with one of the princes of h*ll on the way to hell, and upon getting to hell, screams for help, hoping someone will care and save her? It’s h*ll… At no point is she at all phased at h*ll being real, or being there, for the rest of eternity. Sure she cries at one point, for about a minute, because someone might want to kill her.

The next moment, she literally skips around and immediately starts trying to do everything she can to make h*ll a great place for when she’ll rule. She’s never phased about being in h*ll even though she grew up not believing in anything.

Then the end when she has to save someone, there’s an overly convenient solution where people guess, correctly why it works.
