I nearly cried during some of the difficult times, meaning, I got sucked into the story. I think all of us curvy girls have thought negatively about our size at least once in our lives, maybe some of the newer generation feel differently since body positivity has been helping women out and hopefully men too. I remember being a little girl, always struggling with my jeans because my butt crack would show since I had a curvy booty, lol, but not enough fabric to cover it. I got bullied all the time for it. Thankfully, I ended up dating some one who sees me for me, and I may not have seen or understood what he saw for the first couple years, but once I got out of high school I changed for the better. I wore crop tops for the first time and have eventually explored leggings and things I never would’ve previously worn, I still struggle, but will always appreciate the support of someone just like Beckette.

(Sorry for the long review, just wanted to share a snippet of my own experience, and relate to the book!)
