TLDR: mc is all the bad bits of masculinity with a cast of 2D bobbleheads only there as his reflections.
He is Impossibly lucky, extremely basic considering the whole story centres around him and his only characteristic seems to be reckless disregard for himself and other’s bordering on the suicidal. He exudes this poor facade of a macho man without any of the qualities. Listening to this book is like watching as a spoiled brat gets given everything he wants while surrounded by yes men (and a woman of course, got the have the love interest).
it’s hours upon hours of cliches and bad writing. I genuinely cannot fathom why this has 4.3 stars, it’s that bad. GO READ CLOUD CUCKOO LAND INSTEAD OR LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE!
