I will say that this book is a good start. Definitely one big build up. I almost wished there was more of a premise or prologue in the beginning because I feel like I’m missing 10% chunk of the story that it just sort of jumped right into the action. Fans of Tess will get a nice cameo. I liked that Pepper is connecting her other books. Of course Pepper sure knows how to leave a cliffy though. I’m really wondering how this entire series will play out and I look forward to them!
Sarah and Scott both did a great job narrating. Love the Duet narration. This is a first listen by Scott and he was great!
