this was an enjoyable dark mafia romance where the two main characters are forced to be together as she needs a bodyguard after threats to her family have been made and she’s in danger and he’s more than willing to be there for her. After all these two are no strangers to each other as they hook up but she’s not ready to put any labels or effort to move into believing that there’s a possibility of a HEA between them. Now with the possiblity of their enemies lurking nearby will they be alive to give each other a try?
