Larissa Hostetler and her family are facing a lot of changes in their family. In book #1 it is hinted that Larissa escaped from an abusive marriage and Bishop King, the most powerful and eldest immortal in The Order has gone after her to retrieve her, however, he discovers that Larissa is his fated mate. Will they be able to be together and demolish her ties with her husband, Silus. Kane while on his travels has made a connection between the human world and his kind and goes back and forth in his involvement in the family drama. Abilene and Jonas have known that they were not fated mates but have lived hoping that it wouldn’t be a problem until recently it is discovered that his fated mate is calling for him. Adam and Annalise’s baby is due. Yep, a lot of multiple pov’s but overall enjoyed the drama and suspense.
