British Professor is the fourth book in the McCullough Mountain Series, this time starring Sheilagh McCullough and Alec Devereux. Sheilagh has an outstanding QI level but she has been lost forever. After one particular raunchier act, her big brothers give her an ultimatum, go to Princeton or face her father’s wrath. So, after 6 years of parties Sheilagh is heading for college.
School has always been easy for Sheilagh, but her new philosophy Professor is starting to become more than a pebble in her shoe. The latest assignment is driving her crazy and she’s not used to bad grades… How will she cope with this new reality?
I listened to the audio version of this book and the story kept me entertained, but the book also seemed to drag a bit. The McCullough clan is obviously an interesting one, and their interactions provided some humor throughout the story. But there was something missing… The narration was at times a bit odd, but that’s mainly because of the different accents portrayed in the book. Overall, it was an enjoyable audiobook.
