The first time I listened to/read this book, I was in the middle of a “super hero/power fiction” marathon and considered this one an above average story, particularly due to a sort of “ah hah” moment which I’m sure most readers experience (for me it was during the chapter in which Felix first gets attacked while riding in a car).

I recently decided to listen again, curious as to how it would hold up a couple of years later and following a completely different type of marathon (non-fiction, mostly) — and I’m happy to report that it was even more entertaining to me this time around.

I just discovered that it is now the beginning of a trilogy, and can’t wait to find out what else is in store for Felix and his Legion.
