I like the character build up, very humanistic story line with relatable characters. I grew up with family members that came back from Vietnam all kinds of messed up. None of us ever heard of PTSD or had a clue what these warriors go through over in these countries they get dropped into! I watched my uncle become a shell of anger and emptiness as his family could do nothing but try to hang on for the ride. No add in a dose of what can be the next phase in Americas downfall and you have a strong story to wrap your mind around. I will be watching for book two!
