If you are a fan of the Columbus Day series, which I am, you will probably love this book. It’s a bit like a space opera for Deadpool fans. Yeah, I think that captures it pretty well. A lot of gaming references so if you’re a gamer, you’ll dig it. If, like me, you don’t play video games and don’t really know the difference between HALO, COD (cash on delivery?) and Pong, you will still enjoy the references. Actually kind of a clever teaching moment.

I am very picky with regard to narrators. I’ve kicked more than a few books to the curb because I couldn’t get passed the voice. Initially the dual narration tweaked me but it soon became obvious that it was necessary for the story and I settled in nicely. It doesn’t hurt that both narrators (and the 3rd for one chapter) are top notch. R.C. Bray, Susan Bennett and Ray Porter league.

**SPOILER**

My only complaint- What happened to Gurty?
