I’m sure a lot of research went into this book and I hate giving bad reviews, but I am literally on chapter 47 with 1.5 hours left in the book and the author is still giving info dumps on lobster fishing and some couple getting married? I am beginning to doubt many of the positive reviews were legit.
Since it’s a relatively new book — at the time I am writing this — I guarantee there will soon be dozens of others expressing the same level of disappointment that I have. I could care less about the author trying to impress readers with his info dump on fishing boats, lobster fishing, Moreover, I have little concern for the labored detailed focus on the couple getting married. These two characters are so uninteresting and canned that I don’t even remember their names.
