I’m 1 hour and 54 minutes into the book and am compelled to rebut the reviews of “slow at first”. Those reviews don’t appreciate the character building that took place that was necessary for thier appreciation of the protagonist, his reasoning, his purpose and why he became the protagonist. I’ve stopped here to make this review as I understand the world building and character development sets the stage for the readers acceptance of what comes later. All is superb and should not be discounted by those who thoroughly enjoyed the writing while simultaneously discounting the reason it was so enjoyable.
I’ll include more after I eagerly finish the book.
