Listen to this in 0.9x speed and thank me later. It’s perfection. As far as the actual story goes, I was surprised. Not your typical litRPG at all. It has all the game elements, but plays out more like you’d hope it would, given the circumstances, instead of the typical tactic of just accepting fate in a litRPG world. Combat is absolutely horrifying, the bad guy is way worse than you’d hope for, and the prospect of Carl winning? A Planck length away from absolute zero. Yet I’m coming back for seconds.
