Although I enjoyed the story overall, I was distracted and irritated over the number of characters who ‘leered ‘ at others. Not only was the word overused, but often it seemed to be used incorrectly, hence the distraction. Seems petty, but words matter when you’re a writer. Still want to know how the story ends, so will look for the next in the series!
