I enjoyed the story. As I do most books in this genre, that being said it felt rushed. Considering the realities of the situation, I understand the authors reasoning. Though, the characters could have been fleshed out a bit more, before the melt down. It would have allowed the harshness of their experiences to be more impactful. I will be listening/reading the next in the series and hope for character building!
